As far as vintage lighting goes (everthing from original arts-and-crafts movement chandeliers to funky 'sixties sputnik fixtures), you can't beat eBay -- the selection and prices blow away anything you could find locally. There's a great assortment of modern lighting, too. I recently bought a knockoff DWR pendant on the site for about a third of the regular retail price. Go eBay!
