Re: LAX Bed. I think I just gasped audibly.

That's one sexy bed. And one that I'd actually purchase. Time to start saving those pennies.

Enrique I thought the exact same thing! Designpublic sells it, let's try to get a volume discount :)

I wanna know aboout the wall, too... what kind of panels are those?

The wall unit is actually where all the storage lives. I would imagine you could use it without the bed as well, anyplace in your home where you need some storage cabinets that aren't too deep.

um, I don't think we're talking about the headboard unit, we're (or at least I am) talking about the big, dark, square panels behind the headboard. Is it cork? It looks like cement, but I can't imagine...

Yes the big dark panels
Anyone know?

The wall is duro-rock,if u look at the detail pics of headboard, u'll see it up close. Duro-rock is used under ceramic tile floors, can be purchased at any home store like Home Depot, Lowe's etc. cheap too.

Just for clarity I'll say it's Durock, not Duro-rock. Could also be Wonderboard.

Actually, based on the texture, I'd say it is Wonderboard. Wonderboard has that more porous, open weave. Durock is smooth on one side and nubbly on the other.
